2. Qualsafe accredited Level 2 Food Safety

Dates: 

Wednesday 13th December 2017 - 9.30am to 4.30pm
Saturday 24th February 2018 and Wednesday 25th April 2018 - 9.30am to 4.30pm

Anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled.

3. Qualsafe Emergency First Aid at Work

Why is this training important?

The content of this course provides basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations, covering the following:-

  • Health and Safety ( first aid ) regulations
  • Managing an incident
  • The priorities of first aid
  • Treatment of an unconscious casualty
  • Resuscitation
  • Shock
  • Choking
  • Seizures
  • Bleeding
  • Common workplace injuries

Who needs this qualification?

Recommended for Organisations and settings where a qualified 1st Aider is not needed, but there must be an “Appointed Person “. Especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.

Duration: One day programme
Assessment Method: The EFAW course contains six contact hours and the use of oral and practical assessment is used to evaluate the candidates. There is no final practical assessment.

4. Qualsafe accredited Level 3 Food Safety:

Dates: 5th, 6th and 7th February 2018, with examination to take place on 7th February 2018.
  
Who needs this qualification?
Managers and supervisors in small, medium or large catering, manufacturing or retail businesses. Particularly relevant for those who have to develop or monitor HACCP based food safety management procedures and systems.

5. Qualsafe Accredited Level 3 Food Refresher

Who needs this qualification?
This training takes place three years after completion of the original full course. Food Safety regulations and best practice are constantly changing and therefore in order to guarantee safe food for customers, knowledge and training must be regularly updated.

Duration: One and a half day programme
Assessment: Multiple choice examination

6. Qualsafe First Aid @ Work

Who needs this qualification?
Anyone identified by their employer to take on the role of first aider in the workplace.

Why is this training important?
The Health & Safety Regulations of 1981 (in relation to 1st Aid) place a general duty on employers to provide 1st Aid treatment to employees within the workplace. If an employer decides to appoint 1st aiders after having undertaken a workplace risk assessment then 1st aiders must have a valid certificate of competence.

Duration: Three-day programme
Assessment method: Activities, question and answer exercise paper, practical and oral assessments.

7. Qualsafe Paediatric First Aid

Who needs this qualification?
Suitable for all childcare workers enabling them to deal with most accidents / illness or emergency situations. Course content as Ofsted request.

Venue: The Mount Hotel, Mount Road, Wolverhampton, West Midlands WV6 8HL

Length of course: 2 full days (12 hours)

Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm

Certificates: Issued by Training Provider, Premier Training Services and valid for 3 years

8. Qualsafe Accredited Level 3 HACCP in Manufacturing 

Dates: May 21st, 22nd and 23rd 2018; 9.30am to 4.30pm all training days

Who needs this qualification?
The QA Level 3 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing (RQF) is ideal for managers and supervisors that are responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of HACCP based food safety management procedures in a food manufacturing environment. This qualification may also be suitable for owners and managers of small food businesses to help develop their knowledge of HACCP based food safety management procedures.

Duration: Three day programme.
